Boutonnieres

Val bought me the latest Martha Stewart Wedding magazine yesterday and there is the cutest article about a DIY wedding - on a $9000 budget! Just my style. The article inspired me to look into DIY boutonnieres.

And by DIY I mean buy someone elses DIY creativitity.

Talked to Jordan about my plan - he thinks this is brilliant! Below is the boutonniere that initially caught his eye

Wine

I have something really amazing to share!

Wayne's dad, Dave, is making Jordan and I the most amazing wedding gift!

Dave has offered to make us (literally, make, homemade, specially for us!) wine for our wedding reception as our wedding gift!

How great is this?! Our very own delicious homemade wine! I can't think of a cooler gift.

Not only can I not wait to try this wine but how FUN is it going to be to make personal labels!

Idea below:
By buying our own labels here, we can print our own wine labels using this template.

Then, follow instructions here. Found via MarthaStewartWeddings.com

DIY Flower Bouquets

Okay. This is brilliant.

May. Potentially. Quite possibly? Be overwhelming . . .

But could save a ton of money! (Andrea, you might want to look into this too!)

Flowerbud.com offers wholesale wedding flowers at a fraction of the price!

Order your flowers in bulk, shipped overnight, then you put together the arrangements. Or bouquets.

I'm leaning more towards arrangements only and then having a professional make our bouquets to save our sanity levels a bit.

Example price - one bunch of of 50 roses for $119.

What do you ladies think!?
